Eco-Friendly Perthshire Hotel
Embrace the Beautiful Scottish Countryside
Hilton Dunkeld House was originally the home of the Earls of Atholl dating back to 1529 and is situated in an area of rich beauty, wildlife and history. When you stay at our hotel you’ll have a 280 acre estate of unspoilt Perthshire countryside right on your doorstep.
The hotel sits within a unique area of Perthshire called "Big Tree Country" and our grounds include one of the most significant designed landscapes and tree collections in Scotland. The hotel estate contains an extraordinary collection of rare and unusual trees including some "Champion Trees" - the largest examples of their species to be found in the whole of the UK and Ireland.
Whether you are fishing for salmon or strolling along the grounds of the hotel by the River Tay, you cannot fail to be amazed by the natural beauty of the setting. Our aim is to help preserve this environment for future generations.
At Hilton Dunkeld House, we think you'll agree with us that Big Tree Country is worthy of both celebration and conservation.
